The page, rewritten from the archive
The 2002 rules page opened by explaining that the rules existed to protect the quality of the fish stocks and the enjoyment of other anglers. The full rules were displayed at the fishery entrance and printed on every day ticket.
The page then set out a short list of basics for first-time visitors. That list was not captured by the Internet Archive, so it is not reproduced here. If you kept a ticket or a copy of the rules, the archive would like to hear from you.
Figures come first from the fishery’s own pages of 2001 to 2011, as saved by the Internet Archive, and from the former operator’s website. Forum threads, films and press reports come second and are marked as anglers’ accounts. Each figure links to its source and the date it was captured. Where sources disagree, both are shown.
