The 2007 original

What the fishery gave away

The fishery’s downloads page described it as the “Bury Hill Fisheries 3D Carp Game (9.8 Mb) - Zip. This game requires a PC with Windows XP and a graphics card which is DirectX9 compliant. You will need to unzip the package to install.” [Archive, 24 February 2007]

The archive has not been able to establish who made the original game. If you know, please send a correction.

Download the original from the Internet Archive. 3dcarp.zip, captured 14 February 2007 (9.8 MB). It is Windows software from 2007 and the archive has not tested it on current computers. Scan it before opening, as you would any old download.

Questions

Will the original game run on my computer?

It was made for Windows XP with a DirectX 9 graphics card. The archive has not tested it on current computers.

Is the rebuild the same game?
