Looking for excitement, originality and adventure from a corporate day-out that will test your skills, stamina and team spirit in the 'Great Outdoors'. Then pit your wits against some of the biggest freshwater fish in Britain and experience the ultimate adrenaline rush from battling and beating your first heavyweight specimen.

It is no surprise that angling is the UK's most popular participant sport, even bigger than Golf!

At Bury Hill Fisheries we can put together the ultimate corporate fishing package tailored to the needs of you and your guests, full of fast action and thrills with a competitive edge that rewards quick thinking and team-building.

And while you're stalking your quarry and getting into the thick of the action, we can cater for your every need with our extensive facilities and a catering package adapted to suit your requirements and budget.

Suitable for anglers and non-anglers alike, we promise you a day that is packed with fun and 'just that little bit different' where anything is possible.

'General' Angling Days

We are open for general angling days all the year round when you can book any of the lakes or take over the whole complex for the day, according to your needs. Depending on numbers and requirements, we can tailor a day's activities to suit.

'Big Fish' Days for Carp, Pike & Zander

'Big Fish' Corporate Days mean just that, jaw-dropping specimens that most anglers wait a lifetime to catch, at Bury Hill you have exclusive access to some huge specimens. Powerful carp that average 18lb and which reach an arm aching 30lb swim alongside razor-toothed pike that average 16lb and reach close on 30lb, and magnificent pre-historic looking zander that are the biggest in the South of England averaging close to 10lb.

We provide all the tackle, bait and instruction needed to do battle with the lake's monster's and even pre-bait areas to lure them to your bait. We have the finest instructors to guide you through the day and to help with pictures to capture the excitement. We can even arrange for an angling celebrity to join you.

Our 'Big Fish' Carp days run throughout the spring and summer months when fishing is generally from the bank. Evenings are often a good time to catch carp and because of this we offer an evening BBQ package.

Our 'Big Fish' predator days start in October and run through to March, fishing can be from both bank and boat.

Simply Book Up

and Have a Go!

If you have never tried angling, we can offer you a unique day-out, unlike anything you will ever have experienced before. Whilst you may have tried Trout fishing as a corporate day out, in Coarse angling everything is bigger, harder fighting and more instant!

So if you are looking for something different, full of excitement and self-discovery in a sociable atmosphere amid beautiful surroundings, come and be our guests at Bury Hill and we'll promise you a day to remember.

To discuss your requirements, contact the fishery on the numbers quoted or click the 'contact us' button.

Catering

Our boathouse, which is located right on the lake, is the hub of our catering experience providing a rustic ambience.

Specialising in traditional home made English fare, we offer an extensive choice of menus, which includes a Buck’s Fizz breakfast, hot and cold spreads and during the warmer months, BBQ's at the waters edge.

Accommodation

For guests wishing to stay overnight, there are good local hotels, inns and bed and breakfast establishments close to the fishery. We would be pleased to provide details or arrange an all-inclusive package.

A Typical 'Big Fish' Day

Your day starts with a full English Champagne breakfast in the boathouse followed by a brief talk on the do’s and don’ts of catching and handling "Big Fish". The latest Hi-Tec tackle, bait and a comfortable chair will already have been set up for you. With a flask and goodie bag provided, you set off for pre-baited areas where one of our bailiffs will be on hand to help and oversee the safe handling, weighing and return of all fish caught. There are of course ample photo opportunities, which we can assist with if required, simply let us know when booking.

At the end of the day, what better than a home-made meal back in the boathouse providing ample opportunity to find out who caught the largest fish and to swap stories about "the one that got away". Alternatively, we have some excellent pubs a short drive away.
